In the English bilingual class of year 9, our students listened to Stravinsky's suite "The Firebird" and used their water colors to paint an impression of what the firebird might look like or what it might be moving like as the music makes us believe. In a short text the students explained their pictures. Guess which of the pictures is explained by the following text:
"My picture shows a forest at night, with all the different colours a night sky is capable of showing. There is black, blue, orange and purple. Beneath the sky is a forest with flowers, trees, and bushes, because the music reminded me of a story I once listened to when I was younger, and there were many flowers blossoming at midnight. So this could be the place the firebird would be. A place full of spirituality, fantasy and misery."
